MeSH

MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) is a controlled vocabulary or standardised set of terms used by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to index and catalogue medical and scientific literature in the PubMed and Medline databases. MeSH is also used in other biomedical and life sciences databases. MeSH is a hierarchical structure that helps to classify and organise topics in a way that improves searchability and consistency across a wide range of resources.
