Utility

Utility, a term used in health economics, is a measure of the value that individuals or societies place on different health states or outcomes. It is used to assess health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and the effectiveness of medical treatments, programs, or interventions. The idea is to quantify health outcomes in a way that accounts for both quantity and quality of life.
