PICO

PICO is a framework used to help structure research questions for effectiveness reviews. It stands for Patient/Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome. The framework helps in developing clear and focused questions, is defined during the development of protocol and is an essential component of the eligibility criteria [the includes and the excludes] in a scoping or systematic review.

SRI is funded by the UK Blood Services
